Profile: Pat McKenzie

I don't know where it comes from, this feeling that I just 'have' to put brush to canvas? It is such a luxury that I now have the time to pursue my muse.Twenty years ago I moved to live permanently on our farm in Aireys Inlet, near the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Living in the middle of some 750 acres, surrounded by Australian bush with its kangaroos, wedge tailed eagles, kookaburras and other numerous bird life, cattle and horses, not to mention the occasional snake, and only five minutess from some of the most beautiful beaches Australia has to offer, I do not have to go far for inspiration for my work.
